Scientists identify some of the oldest galaxies in the universe
Some of the earliest galaxies in the universe have been identified by scientists, including one of Indian origin. The finding, published in the Astrophysical Journal, suggests that galaxies including Segue-1, Bootes I, Tucana II and Ursa Major I are some of the first galaxies ever formed, thought to be over 13 billion years old.
